For Marc and Devin Pappas, philanthropy is a heartfelt commitment. While Marc prefers a more understated role behind the scenes, Devin is an active and prominent figure in numerous charitable organizations within our community. Over the years, she has lent her voice as an emcee to various philanthropic events for organizations like Hope Villages of America and the Central Park Performing Arts Center. Devin has also taken the lead in chairing significant events, notably the inaugural RCS Grand Gala, which successfully raised nearly $250,000 to support individuals in need in Pinellas County—providing vital resources for feeding, shelter, and assistance.

Her altruistic endeavors extend to causes close to her heart, including the Faces of Domestic Violence event, which she has chaired for many years. Additionally, Devin is the visionary behind the Denim and Diamonds Gala, a fundraising initiative that has amassed over $500,000 to aid those facing adversity. Beyond fundraising, Devin actively contributes as a Domestic Violence Advocate and Volunteer at the Hope Villages of America's domestic violence shelter, known as "The Haven."

In 2015, Devin initiated the Pathways to Business Fundamentals program, an innovative project focused on collecting gently used women's clothing from local groups and individuals. By partnering with local retailers as drop-off centers, she created a sustainable system to provide clothing for women in shelters who often flee with only the clothes on their backs.

Devin's journey with Hope Villages of America began in 2012 as a domestic violence advocate and volunteer at "The Haven." Witnessing firsthand the profound impact of domestic violence on individuals and families, she took it upon herself to raise funds for the shelter. This led to the inception and continued chairmanship of the Denim and Diamonds Gala, a testament to her unwavering dedication.

While Devin took center stage in these charitable pursuits, Marc played an integral role in providing support. His commitment was evident in handling logistical aspects of events, including securing venues, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring seamless execution. Marc's organizational prowess and meticulous attention to detail proved indispensable in transforming these events into resounding successes.
